September 2012 - Assessments of both marine and cruise markets for Ogden Point are now complete.
The cruise market assessment by Bermello, Ajamil & Partners examines trends in the cruise industry over the next 15 years, and reviews how the Ogden Point facility is suited to capitalize on opportunities.
The marine market assessment by Martin & Associates identifies potential cargo market opportunities at Ogden Point over the next 15 years. It looks at development opportunities with low barriers to entry and low impact to the community.
February 2012 - The technical review of Ogden Point is now complete. Part A of the Ogden Point Master Plan process conducted by CH2M Hill is available here. The consultant's report outlines what marine activities the site is physically capable of supporting.
The Part A report explores the potential for passenger cruise services, boat storage and yacht transfer, coastal shipping and cargo, berthage for cable and research ships, a liquid bulk products terminal or module assembly facility.
The next stage of the Ogden Point Master Plan process involves assessment of shipping and cruise markets.
